So you hear a really catchy, unfamiliar song in the club and you have no idea what it's called. You hum it to yourself repeatedly in an attempt to memorize the lyrics, only to forget it after slamming a few shots at the bar. Shazam will never leave you struggling to recall those lyrics again. All you need to do is to Hold the iPhone up to a speaker playing the unknown tune and the app will identify it — album, artist and song title — just like that. If possible, IM+ just got even better. The updated version, released today, includes the following new features:
- new inbox view with message preview
- new bubbles in chat dialogs
- ability to send video on iPhone 3G S- new Twitter features: On/Off Push for Friends Timeline, link shrinking, and Retweet options
- Yahoo Japan support
These are all in addition to the ability to chat over every major social networking/messaging service all at once, send geo-location, pictures, and voice recordings, browse while chatting, set wallpapers for chat dialogs, and a host of other cool features. IM+ is definitely the best social networking app out there, and these updates made it even better, so check it out!!!

In an interesting turn of events, Gameloft sent us notice of an upcoming 99¢ game of theirs called Bailout War$. From their faux newspaper press release they sent out (below), Bailout War$ is going to be a castle defense type game but instead of a castle, you are protecting the White House from greedy bankers coming to take the taxpayer's money.
